Overview
SNS is a mobile-first sports news and scores platform designed around a single insight: sports fans check scores constantly, but existing apps bury them behind ads, noise, and irrelevant content. SNS strips the experience back to what fans actually want — their teams, their scores, their news — personalized from the first tap and updated in real time.
Design Challenge
Sports fans struggled to find live scores quickly, faced excessive content and advertising, and had limited control over notifications. Six interviews confirmed that users primarily wanted to check scores within seconds rather than browse lengthy sports content.
Solution
I designed a “scores first” experience with personalised teams, real-time scores, granular notifications, and a three-step onboarding flow requiring no account. Testing showed 5/5 users found scores in under 8 seconds, leading to improvements such as period/time indicators and faster notification access.
