Overview

Web-based logistics and task management application built for small-to-mid-size operations teams. The design challenge came directly from personal experience: after years in retail operations and assistant management, I watched teams rely on messy spreadsheets, text message chains, and whiteboards to manage daily task loads and shipment tracking. TrackEase replaces that friction with a single, scannable interface.

Problem

Operations supervisors lacked real-time visibility into task and shipment status, forcing them to rely on constant check-ins. Research found that teams frequently checked status during shifts, while supervisors struggled with team-level visibility and incomplete shift handovers.

Solution

I designed a dashboard centred on team-level progress, one-tap status updates, shipment tracking, and auto-generated handover summaries. Usability testing validated the handover flow, with participants estimating it saved at least 10 minutes. I also added drag-and-drop reassignment, larger mobile controls, and one-tap follow-up flags based on testing.
